I have my first lap coming up in July (diagnostic for suspected endo) and very nervous for the op and recovery afterwards! I know I will need to rest for a good few weeks but exercise is so important for my mental health and I struggle quite badly without it.
Anyone who has had a diagnostic lap, how long did you wait until you could return to gentle exercise? I know I will need to rest and prioritise recovery so not expecting to do anything for a while but just wondering what peoples experiences have been.
thank you xx

Hi,I know exactly what you mean, as I use exercise the same way.
I needed my exercise pretty quickly! I started with walks on day 3 of my recovery, very gentle daily yoga from day 6 and back to running 3 times a week after 14 days. I was listening to my body and did only what it was ready for. My runs were very easy to begin with, with many walking rests.
