information on endometriosis

recently come off the depo injection after having it many years, I’m about 11 months from it, didn’t take long for periods to arrive, past 2 have been about 5 days long and pretty much on time of 28 days but in the last month I’ve had 2 bouts of really painful spasms, like someone is ripping my insides out that feel like very bad contractions, can’t get comfortable and bent over in pain and it’s come on after sex when I move and need to pee, finding it extremely difficult to wee also and it keep me awake all night, never had this before either and same partner for over 10 years. I have lower back pain a lot and leg pain, what I’m finding is linking to endometriosis when I research and I have no idea what to do next as never experienced anything like this before, smears come fine also

hun see if you can ask you doctor to have a referral for a gynecologist who specialises in endometriosis. Or ask to have an mri hun or an ultrasound. I was only diagnosed with endo last year after so many years of pain and being bent over on a period. Take care xx also I recommend writing a diary when you are on next also write down how long and the pain levels your experiencing. When I was In early twenties had excruciating pain levels just told ibs as had anorexia I would feel my insides being ripped apart every month. When I started at ten was so so heavy and painful even then but every year just got worse and worse. Xxx sending hugs as I’m not dis similar in age am 38
