Hi all, I'm 41 and never had painful periods up until 2 periods ago. The awful pain is everyday not just on my period so I feel like I've got period cramps all day every day. Some day I'm ok and pain free maybe 2 a week. I had a vaginal ultrasound and only showed a small fibroid it had reduced from the last ultrasound i had. As I went home to read the notes said restricted mobility of the left ovary raising the possibility of adhesion. The dr said nothing.. could this be endo.. I'm scared as I've just been diagnosed with ms.

Don't know what to do?
Hi. I'm sorry to hear you are going through so much. Have you had any tests re perimenopause? And what have the docs said about the fibroid? Are they going to operate at all? I've known women who've had pain with fibroids, and the start of menopause can lead to varied symptoms. Are you seeing a specialist at all? Or can you speak to someone and ask about the adhesion? It sounds like you need more support than you are currently receiving. I would recommend a tens machine for pain. Something I wish I'd bought much earlier with my endo. They work like pain meds in the sense that you need to put it on at the first twinge of pain so that it has the chance of blocking the brain/ pain signal axis. I found it a helpful and a worthwhile investment.
I hope you have a good day today. Sending love your way.
