Bowel issues and blood

I’m awaiting my first appt with gynae consultant but my GP has been great so far and is fairly convinced I’ve got endo based on symptoms and ultrasound showing endometrioma on one of my ovaries. One thing I’m really struggling with, is in the run up to my period and during there seems to be menstrual blood in my poo… but after my period I have days of really struggling with feeling like I need to pass wind or need a poo, go to the toilet and it’s small amounts of blood each time I go.. this has been upwards of 20 times each day this weekend and it’s so debilitating. Has anyone else experienced similar? I’m worrying in case I’m missing something else while waiting to see the consultant. It’s def more like period blood than ‘normal’ blood but it’s still really worrying and I’m not sure if this sort of thing is typical for endo on the bowel? Thank you for any advice.

Hey, has your GP requested a stool sample at all? I would be inclined to provide one, just to put your mind at rest that there’s not anything sinister going on. Keep pushing your GP for Gyne appointment. I have endo all along my small & large bowel, but thankfully have not seen any blood in stools. Are you straining/pushing when sat on loo? If so, you could be bursting blood vessels. Hope you get to gyne soon. Take care x
