Pain 2 months after surgery

Hi everyone.

I had my 2nd sugery 12 december last year.

They removed deep infiltrating endometriosis, on bowl, bladder and near ureter! I been diagnosed with adenomyosis aswell but they couldn't do anything about it.

It's been a difficult recovery with infections and pain compared to my first one but that's probably due to it was a bigger surgery.

I'm over 2 months now after surgery and experiencing a lot of pain the last week and half, just getting worse each day ( been in bed for the last few days) .

I got a physical job, so I only been working part-time so far, but I experience a lot of pain after work and my left thigh goes completely numb.

I don't really know what to do, if it's normal or not? I got my appointment with the surgeon on the 28th February but it feels like a long time away when in pain.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

hi l have been in a similar situation to yourself.

My first port of call has always been my GP she is a diamond. If you can’t get an early appointment at the surgery, ask the receptionist if they will give you a telephone consult as you are having these symptoms which are very unusual for yourself. If the GP thinks you need it they should offer to be in touch with your team and push for a quicker hospital consult.

Hope this works for you, Alexa

Thank you for your reply! I'm going to contact my gp tomorrow. If you don't mind me asking what was your situation?
