First time getting an implant

Hi everyone,

I had an implant fitted on Friday to see if it will help with my periods. I get really heavy bleeding, immense cramps to the point I can’t move in both my lower abdomen and lower back, I’m constantly tired and haven’t found any painkillers that help with the pain. I was wondering what side affects did you get with the implant and if it helped as I don’t have high hopes for it?

I didn’t have a period when on the implant however put on heaps of weight and couldn’t shift it until I got the implant out x
