Left shoulder pain

Hi guys,

I have recently had an MRI which has detected deep infiltrating endometriosis in the womb, both fallopian tubes and both ovaries. I also have an 11cm endometrioma on my right ovary. I am currently awaiting an appointment with an endo specialist gynaecologist but unsure how long that will be.

I have been getting back pain and lower abdominal pain along with leg pain which i’m sure are all as a result of the endo but for the past week I have also been getting an awful pain in my left shoulder, neck and upper left side of my back which sometimes radiates down my left arm. Could this be endo related or is this something completely different?

I do also have gallstones which i have had for about 2-3 years but they weren’t causing any issues previously so when i had appointment with a specialist for that last year, they decided to leave the gallbladder as it is until it starts causing issues so don’t know if it could be related do this rather than the endo.

I have not had any shoulder injuries or lifted anything heavy so dont think it is that. Hoping someone cal help.

Hiya. New to this, im undiagnosed at present. But have a 8cm endo on my left ovary and a 2cm in the right one. Have been in amd out the hospital since i had an ectopic pregnancy in October and still am no further. I also suffer with severe leg pain on a daily baisis, i was told pins and needles or shoulder tip pain to go to the hospital. If your symptoms have changed get in touch with the non emergency line and see what they suggest. Good luck and hope you get sorted! X

Please get it checked as gallstone related shoulder pain will be on your right.

I have all symptoms that you mentioned. Back pain, left shoulder pain and abdominal pain. I diagnosed with endometriosis but need to do scan for gallbladder, the doctor told me all your pains is belong to the eno problem!

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me. I am still waiting to see the endo specialist so I will definitely mention it to him as I have noticed that when the abdominal pain / back pain is worse or at different points in my cycle, the shoulder pain also gets worse.
