Endometriosis Symptoms?

hey everyone. So I was diagnosed with endometriosis in September after having a swollen fallopian tube removed and since have been told it’s on my left side… but nothing else. I’ve not really been told much about the other symptoms of endo apart from chronic pelvis pain (which I am getting)

My other symptoms are, awful acne, legit NO sex drive, I’ve dried up… if you know what I mean, excessive facial hair growth, my moods can be so low and dark and I am so tearful Bloods are normal… I’m just wondering if this is all linked. I just feel like I’m going insane and my mental health is suffering! I’m having counselling which helps!

any advice or even drop me a message if you’re in the same boat xx

Sorry you're feeling like this. I can relate to the acne and no sex drive! Felt so depressed this week before my period too. I think the hormone rollercoaster of endo can cause all of it unfortunately. I also have crushing fatigue which is the worst. Do you have cysts? I have 6 on one ovary and reckon that must affect hormones and overall mood. This disease just sucks, and drain the life out us! Sorry not much help, but you're not alone!

Hey hun! Sorry to hear you’re suffering too! It does SUCK! I’ve been told that cysts on your ovaries can cause acne so I might do who knows!!! Thanks for the response, this forum definitely makes me feel less in my own head! Xx

You could read up on PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) as some of your symptoms sound like that eg excess hair, acne. Are you taking any hormone treatment at present for the endo, or contraception? That could also cause some of the symptoms if they have developed since.

Definitely worth going to your GP with all this, particularly for better pain relief during your periods. For your other symptoms, best do some research on your own first to give you an idea of what to ask.

You can get cream or gel to help with vaginal dryness ( often used by women in menopause) if you do feel like having sex in the future!

Hope things improve xx

It sounds like it could be PCOS too - has this been looked into at all? X
