No period return after 18 weeks stopping prostap

Hia. No periods returned after being off prostap for 18 weeks. Anyone been through this?

I had one 3 month dose of Prostrap in February and it took until September for my period to return. So it was 17 weeks from when the dose technically ran out, in this time I did have extensive laparoscopic surgery. When I spoke to my GP about it they said they wouldn't be worried until 6 months after the dose had ended. As I only had a 3 month dose I really expected things to start up again quite quickly, everybody responds differently I've read stories from people that were on it for a year and periods returned quickly and then those that only had a one month dose and waited months for their period to return!

Thank you! I was on the injection from Feb to August so 6 months. At first it was the best thing ever. I actually cried because i woke up feeling pain free after years of pain every day. But as time went on, i just felt so poorly. My bones felt so fragile and achey and weak. I felt like my legs would give up on me. I could barely turn myself over in the night because my muscles were so weak. So i made the decision to stop it.

That sounds awful, experiences vary so much from person to person and can depend on length of time on the drug / add back HRT and so many other factors.
