Mobility exercises?

Does anyone know any mobility exercises that are legitimate for the hip, pelvic and lower back area?

I have been referred to a pain clinic and they do mobility exercises but its a very long time away. Months and months.

I had to leave a course recently because I couldn't hack sitting for so long, and had so many days I struggled to walk longer than 10 minutes, so over the next two months before the next cohert starts I wanted to do as much for my mobility as I could.

If you have any ideas on what has helped your mobility in those areas it would really help.

For me its joint pain, muscle spasms/seizing and tightness and inflammatory pain, trapped nerves shooting pain.

Normal exercises have only ever made things worse for me. I used to be very physically fit and exercise everyday, and its not the pain I mind so much as the lack of being able to do things.

I think that maybe I also fear people seeing me struggle as I haven't had the best experiences and find myself trying to hide it away... Anyway... Im open to any ideas, I told my doc I'd be willing to stand on my head if it was possible.

Have you tried yoga? I have some issues with one of my hips and I found that yoga soothes it beautifully. I currently do 30 min a day focusing on lower back and pelvis. Some days are easier, and some days are harder, but I try to do it everyday nevertheless. I can gid up a link to the healthline article I read about it, if you wish to read it?

Take care of yourself hun, you can only do as much as you can. 🤍

Can I ask what do you use for yoga? Is it a youtuber? I am struggling to find one as good as the one I used to have

I usually just free flow with whatever feels right that day. I am not very strict with my practice and focus on the problematic areas (which more often than not are hios and lower back). Youtubewise I can recommend Adriene (who is probably the best known yoga teacher at this point) and Brett Larkin.
