Yes i have been diagnosed with both also fibromyalgia. I cut out onions and my ibs has improved massively. Try the fodmap diet for ibs it's really useful.

But eventually it was found that my bowels and womb were stuck together because of the endo and adhesions so had to have an op to sort that.

I was diagnosed with ibs when i was 15 by A doctor with no internal investigation and diagnosed with endo at 38. Endometriosis and ibs is connected i have probably had undiagnosed endo for years and years but my problems were always put down to just being ibs. Ibs is one of the symptoms of endo for sure.

I feel that any opportunity symptoms are passed to something else, don't get me wrong this could it triggers other things it's All mind boggling and you feel your going crazy inside x

Sometimes IBS is diagnosed instead of endometriosis. It happened to me and it took years to get my endometriosis confirmed. I also have diverticulitis all in the same area.

Sorry it took so long to get diagnosed rocket it is an awful process. I have no trust in the health service to be honest the surgeon suggested IBS on top of my endro a possibility and basically passing most of the symptoms on to that but apart from during my cycle when I'm swollen and get shooting pains there I don't generally have any issue with my bowels I feel that their trying to pass my symptoms else where but I had endro removed x

It was suggested I had IBS before my endometriosis was diagnosed (endometriosis on my bowel and subsequently an endo-filled adhesion on my bowel). Since my initial endo diagnosis, I have also been diagnosed with coeliac disease, which, for me, presents as IBS-like symptoms.

Sorry to hear you had endo on the bowel. Did the endo infiltrate into the bowel? Also how did they know that the adhesion was filled with endo? Just wondering as had mri which showed a fibrotic adhesion attaching bowel to uterus and not sure if this is connected to endo or not
