How do you know its endo pain?

Hello,

Lately I have been uncomfy after sex. I been having a burning feeling in my vagina and a need to sit on toilet and "push out" air essentially. I have no infections as I been tested recently. Today I woke up with uncomfortable sharp sensation really low in my pelvis and its right in the middle it comes and goes through the day. It feels like a sharp poke however on saturday i did have a really bad low backache also.

I have not had any scans or operations in over 5 years (had 1 op 5 years ago and confirmed endo)

Have any of you experienced this?

Thank you

I also experience pain and burning after sex but my pee always comes back clean. It’s very frustrating. Also after I get off I have a lot of pain that runs down my legs. What’s helped me with my burning feeling is lotttts of water. It truly helps!!

It coulld be endo (e.g. blocking/irritation/inflammation of certain pelvic nerves) it could be tightness of the pelvic floor (not rare) caused by endo pain. You can try to change your position or exercises to relax your pelvic floor or - if you can afford - search for a physiotherapist who is specialized in endometriosis. If that doesn't help push for diagnostics.

Good luck!

Consider the other issues, have you looked at you vulva? (Use hand mirror) Things like Thrush, Lichen Sclerosis, infection, etc can cause issues.

Don’t rule out Endo but there are many things to get checked as well.

Hi I still have issues which have gotten worse. It hurts to urinate quite often now especially in the evening and the morning. Also the feeling before bowel movements really hurts.I am going to have an ultrasound at some point soon waiting for a letter with my appointment. I wonder if that pressure or "air to push" is connected to what I am experiencing now. Sorry nothing major to update. Thank u for your question x
