Pain during sex and trying to concieve

Hi, I had my laparoscopy just over a year ago. I've been on chemotherapy for multiple sclerosis which meant I was unable to try convieve until now. I am now ready to try but sex has always been so painful. I thought the laparoscopy would help but it hasn't. The endo is too close to my bladder to operate again.

Does any one have any physical tips to make sex less painful?please!

It has all caused friction in my marriage and made us avoid sex so any tips on helping me and my partner mentally are welcome.

I experienced painful sex for years and when it came to trying for a baby I couldn't face sex. So I checked my ovulation and tracked this religiously. It worked! I only had sex a few times a month when I was most likely to catch the egg. I was very fortunate I know this isn't the case for everyone. It caused tension in relationship. Best thing is communication. Does he actually have a sense of what it feels like? Has he read these threads or researched endo himself? I am sure you are feeling as we all do guilty that our bodies don't behave. But be kind to yourself. I allowed sex to happen when I really couldn't face it. Along with my ex husband not treating me well generally I felt in the end that sex was almost abuse. Not healthy. My partner now is amazing and supportive but I have to communicate. I think we take for granted that others know but we must share even when we just want to shut it all out because we are sick of thining about it. I hope you get your wish soon xxx
