hi,

I’m 4 weeks post lap. How long does it take for the swelling and bruising to go down? I’m still really bloated and abdo feels tender to touch. My entry sites are fine and healed nicely.

thank you

Hi LauraCB13,Mine took about 6 weeks then started to calm down. I drank a lot of turmeric tea which really helped :) hope it improves for you soon x

Hi we are all different, you do not say which procedure you had. Myself l had partial hysterectomy then 6 weeks later the full hysterectomy was performed after they found a tumour embedded in my endo.

I have to say l had a little bloating but before l left hospital the first and second time it had gone and l had to remind myself not to lift heavy items or bend over completely.

Having said this it might pay you to contact your GP and talk through your concerns. I hope you soon begin to feel much better.
