pain and ultrasound scan

hi I’m looking for some advice, I was diagnosed with endo almost two years ago, mild in pouch of Douglas one spot on left ovary and ovarian fossa. Lap was purely diagnostic and no removal but inserted mirena during lap. The pain has lessened compared to what it was thankfully but I was still having upper right cyclical pain alongside the lower right endo pain I always have. so the gp sent me for a scan to rule out anything else. It came back last week and they said it was satisfactory but didn’t need any further investigation. What does satisfactory mean? Surely if it’s not normal then a discussion should at least be had to tell me whether something minor was found? Has anyone else had this?

An ultra sound scan often doesn’t show endo even if it is present, especially if not done by someone with special training. The wording you give sounds confusing but it seems they did not see anything they were concerned about.

I guess it’s back to the GP to what they suggest next. Referral to Gynae?
