95% accurate saliva test for Endo!

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster.

After 10 years of increasing symptoms and the last three years being hell, I finally had a 5 hour surgery in November. But I’m still having problems.

I was searching blood tests because I feel that there must be something else wrong with me and it is time to stop blaming Endo for all my ongoing issues.

Anyway whilst looking, i found a new saliva based RNA test that is 95% accurate for diagnosis. If you are paying privately for this test as unlikely on nhs, a good private scan maybe a better test, but as a non-invasive test this has huge potential for early diagnosis!

I have no idea on costs, but maybe this helps someone get a diagnosis quicker than my 10 year wait.

I just found out it is very expensive!! Nearly a grand! So unlikely helpful to most of us, but in the future hopefully cost will come down and become a gold standard. Good to see some movement in improving diagnosis options.
