Hi there does anybody have problems with scar tissue and adhesions caused by many surgeries for Endometriosis??? I have just had a Laparotomy to remove extensive scar tissue/ adhesions , it took my surgeon 4 hours to get through the adhesions and then 2 weeks later I ended up back in hospital with a small bowel obstruction. Does anybody else suffer with this problem ??? If so it would be great to chat

hi tracylou,
I have just come out of hospital having had sbo, it cleared eventually with high power laxative. I’ve been told it’s due to adhesions, no one has suggested an op to remove them, I’ve been told I must change my diet to soft mushy food indefinitely, no fibre of any kind.
How on earth did you manage to get an op that removes adhesions?
This is my second time with sbo, but I’ve now been told even with soft mushy diet I might still get obstruction.
