My last gynaecology appointment I was advised that I can go on the waiting list to have the cysts removed. From what I’ve read they should be removed when over 4cm and mine are now closer to 5cm. I have also been advised that removing the cysts can result in me losing eggs which my egg count is already below average and because they are so close to my bowel I’d have to have a bowel specialist there in case they rupture my bowel. Meaning I’d have a stoma fitted.
I have also been advised that I can have them drained. Regardless of my decision either way there are huge risks and finding it really hard to decide on what will be best. Fertility means a lot to me.
I know everyone’s situation and body is different I just honestly don’t know what to do. I’m in pain all the time with my sciatic nerve and just left to make this decision. 😞

Hope you are doing ok. I just came across your post as I'm in a similar position too...I have been advised my cysts need to be removed. I have one on each ovary 6cm and 8cm. From my last ultrasound scan, one had increased slightly and one had decreased slightly.
I don't seem to have the terrible symptoms that others have, thankfully, but also concerned about damage to my ovaries during the excision procedure. However, the cysts themselves are likely causing damage too
Also concerned that I will be left with more pain afterwards where I don't suffer too much as I am.
Did you manage to reach a decision? It's so hard to know what is best
