what is the likelyhood I have just a benign cyst not endo?

so an mri showed a cyst on my ovary I’m scared that I have endo. Guys what is the likelyhood that I have Endo? I’m really scared it’s endo and I’m gonna be in pain forever. I’m having surgery for it soon and I’m worried it will not help me.

hello, I have cysts on both my ovaries got diagnosed at 13years old with pcos back in 2020 I got diagnosed with endo and had surgery, could be a possibility you could have endo but I wouldn’t worry till you know for sure, cysts can cause pain just like endo I got told why I was always told till 2020 it was just my pcos by my docs and gyne till I asked for further investigation and found it was endo x

Slow down, don't panic. Lots and lots of people have cysts on their ovaries that aren't endo. Cysts can cause lots of pain but they don't mean you have endo. So you may be worrying yourself unnecessarily. Even if it is endo many endo sufferes have mild endo and if it is caught early they may not have too much pain and can manage it. I really hope it's not endo there are lots of other reasons you can have cysts.

Try to distract yourself from worrying by keeping busy, the doctors will let you know when they have investigated.Good luck.xxx
