This is my first post, I'm feeling really low and have finally decided to reach out for help. I wanted to ask how you manage to work? I struggle to function most days I am in so much pain but I am still also battling to get an official diagnosis even though doctors say I most probably have endo. What jobs would you recommend to someone with endometriosis? I struggle everyday to work, I wish I didn't have to. Please help.

Hi there,
We all feel your pain and struggle and it’s hard sometimes to maintain full focus in work due to pain and discomfort.
I personally work an office job where I can work form home so it more manageable as use hot water bottles for cramps etc.
I would recommend getting a private consultation to get your diagnosis then you can follow up with your GP with the management?
Hope this helps you
I wish I knew the answer…..because I don’t work but want to.
I have been thinking a lot about this and there’s some organisation locally that can help with guidance and advice. So I will see them and see how that goes.
Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. My journey from working to not working was pretty rough, in short.
To stop working was not a decision I made from choice….I fought hard. It was very detrimental to my mental health to stay working, to give up work, and to be ill and now how to try to rebuild.
a no sugar coated answer is there is no answer as we are all so different.
Much love and much as your journey this!
I'm also struggling with endo and the same problem with mental health and been deciding whether to find a job or not but really don't know what will work for me. So, right now I don't work. 😓
