I don’t sorry, I was meant to go onto it along with zolodex but they changed it to Tibolone. Adenomyosis is just horrible isn’t it? I had a really bad flair up 4 weeks ago and ended up in hospital for 4 nights, have you got any tips of trying to deal with it?xx

I'm just learning how to deal with it myself now at the minute high dose ibuprofen codeine and paracetamol I've started taking cerelle but not convinced it's going to ease anything it's been pretty bad this last week I'm drained from it so going to speak to the doctor again to see if I can get a referral to gynecologist xx

I think you should try and get a referral, you can’t keep going like that. I feel exactly the same this week. It gets you very down. My GP is very good and she wasn’t happy with me being on Cerelle. I’ve been given a Zolodex injection but that was 4 weeks ago and it’s not helped. Sometimes I feel so alone as no one I know has it so it’s good to speak with people who know exactly what it’s like to try and deal with.xx

Yes I'm also on the adeno boat sadly. I'm currently on zoladex. You need to be on it for a while for it to kick in and be effective. It took three months before I started feeling the benefits of zoladex. I'm in the six month now and I can tell you it's the best thing that's happened to me for years since I started suffering from adeno and it took a battle literally for me to convince the gynae and my GP to get me on it. I'm also taking Tibolone to counter some of the effects of the zoladex itself.I'm worried though that they may want to stop it soon because they keep saying it's not for long-term use ☹️

I’m so glad that you are seeing the benefits from it, bet you feel like you have a new lease of life. Thanks for letting me know that, the doctor said it would be 2-4 weeks so I was thinking it hadn’t helped but hopefully I’ll see the same benefits as you soon. I’m back at the consultant in two months and I was going to say I wouldn’t take another injection but maybe I should. It’s so good to get help and advice from people in the same position, thank you so much and I hope you continue to feel good 🤗xx

I've not used that, but I was given an adenomyosis diagnosis when I had a laparoscopy for my endometriosis to fix that. It's why I had such bad pain all the time. On my second lap the doctors were amazed to find that the adenomyosis was gone. I made some dietary changes but the thing that I attribute the most to my healing has been using bio-identical progesterone. You can get it from a naturopath or some doctors will prescribe it. Normal synthetic progesterone I cannot take as any hormonal birth control plays havoc with my moods and emotions. I get really depressed. Ask your gp for micronized progesterone (they do not recognise bio-identical). It's been a life saver for me. Hope it can help you too.
