Any advice or what has worked with wmdo belly ? My belly always seems to be bloated and I look like I'm 6 months pregnant all the time.

Hello

Try eating food that are high in fibre and try to limit on dairy intake. I also find that green tea and chamomile tea helps with bloating.

Hi Angelina,

I find foods with gluten is a trigger for bloating, so eliminate them as much as you can if possible.......the hardest one to replace that you just can't seem to is bread(so I try to avoid it)...I go with gluten free pitta bread or wraps instead as they are nicer. You can't tell the difference with gluten free Penn pasta or porridge...and the gluten free hob nobs are amazing as a treat.....hope this helps.

Altho it could be something else with you....the best way to find out is to mix things, like try avoiding a certain thing for a bit to see if it makes a difference to your bloating, and if not try something else. (Like lactose free milk/cheese) or avoid dairy altogether, or replace tea/coffee with decaf ones. Peppermint tea or oil in water is also good.

Another really really good tip for bloating is to feed your stomach with lots of good bacteria by taking pro biotics and eating kefir yoghurt..... basically you can starve the bad bacteria in the gut through diet and put good bacteria in replacement.

I find diet amazing at sorting out the bloating.

As others have said it can be worth trying to see if there are any foods that are making the bloating worse, perhaps by trying to keep a food and symptom diary for a while. We all have different triggers, but wheat was the big one for me. At the peak of my endo even foods that are good for endo like cruciferous vegetables, pulses and garlic used to make me bloat. I also found peppermint tea helped a bit.
