Zoladex & Fainting

I have severe endometriosis & adenomyosis, I am now on a waiting list for a full Hysterectomy but that wait is about 1 year yet. I have previously had the prostap injections & used to faint a bit when I had it. I forgot this and have stared having zoladex and have started having the dizziness & nearly fainting. Has anyone else had this?

With the Zoladex I am still feeling some pain - but nothing compared to what I was experiencing before the injection.

I am not sure what do to - continue with the injections with the constant risk of fainting or stop but go back to being in unbearable pain.

Any suggestions are greatly welcome!

I don't have any experience with the fainting on zoladex but I would speak to your Dr and see if there is anything they can do to help with it before making the decision to come off it. Have you been having any add back hormones? That maybe something worth trying if not x

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I have spoken to my Dr - they have said it is likely a coincidence and to continue on so that is what I will do.

Hi, I am on Zolodex it was supposed to be for 3 months until a full hysterectomy. Now they are thinking of keeping me on it as I have already had 2 operations. One being a major bowel resection and that hasn't worked so they don't want to risk making me worse or having to have a stoma. They said the surgery (Done by a diff but good surgeon) hasn't worked so they want to try a different route. I am 42 so they are hoping that if i stay on it for 2 years I will be nearer menopause age and the menopause will happen naturally and my endo will then be manageable. I have just had my second implant and I have had dizzy spells like I am going to faint also. My gyno said the same thing 'oh thats odd but just persists as it should disappear. I wonder if its anything to do with the covid injections as weird that our medical prof both sounded shocked?
