hi, I had my third prostap injection on Friday, this time I have a real big bruise and my stomach is tender and so sore, it hurts every time I breathe in. Has anyone else had this and how long did it last? 😓

Hi, I also had this I think with with my third injection (I had 7 in total) and it lasted probably about a week 10 days but then went.

HeyYes I did, it was my third one too. My stomach was black and the bruise was huge. I found them all really painful around the incision area. Took maybe 10 days to totally disappear.

It didn't hurt when I breathed in though - maybe see how you are today and ring the drs for reassurance.

I was prepped for the side effects but I wasn't prepped for the actual wound part!

hi, I’ve always had my Prostap injections in my arms (alternate each month). Never had a problem with the wound what so ever. No heavy arm, bruising, nothing. Maybe have it in ur arms instead? 👍

I’m surprised you were allowed them in your arms! I was told it had to be in the stomach (I was previously having Decapeptyl in my bum)
