ridgevidon pill

hi, I was put on the ridgevidon pill to take back to back to stop ovulation and period and try and manage my pain. I’m on my 3rd pack and actually my symptoms have been so much better I’ve felt so much happier in myself not having to go through ovulation which was making me bedridden with pain! However this morning I’ve woke up and I’m getting dark brown discharge. Has anyone experienced this? I’m presuming it’s because I’m taking it back to back? I’m just panicking in case the pain comes back

hey, I take rigevidon back to back too. Occasionally you may have a breakthrough bleed, which is what this most likely is. My doctor told me to stop taking it for 4 days when this happens. After that start taking it again even if you're still bleeding. The bleeding should stop shortly after.

I have been taking rigevidon for about 4 years now, occasionally I will start spotting so will stop them for a week and have a period. It’s not ideal but happens roughly twice a year so is definitely manageable.

thank you both for your advice. have you both found it helpful with your symptoms? I was a bit worried starting it after reading the negative reviews but I’m really glad I did x
