Update - I've just googled 1 of my gynaecologists, he did my 2nd lap for endometrial cyst removal and diagnostic.

He was nearly struck off for poor management of a terrible surgeon. Ok, not for himself being a bad surgeon, but doesn't really fill me with confidence. Pretty high profile woman was treated by the terrible surgeon.
