Sensitive/embarrassing question

hey guys waiting for my first Lap- just wondered if anyone else had this embarrassing issue … basically I’ve noticed a smell - specifically during ovulation. It never used to be like this. I’ve had all kinds of test etc done any they’ve all come back clear. Does anyone else notice this? And if so how do you prevent it? Thanks in advance xo

Hi there, I didn't just stink at ovulation. I stank the whole whole time I was sexually active (like a rotten dead animal) like you I was tested but over and over again, everything came back clear. I stopped being sexually active, and then stopped using dilators and after 4 weeks the smell was gone but so was everything else; pain, discharge and bleeding.

I do pop oil in there every few days to combat dryness but that doesn't smell offensive as the excess discharges.

I hope somebody else can help you, but from what I remember about the cycle the different discharges can smell, and you can have a natural musky smell at some times in the cycle.

Urgh. Thanks so much for your reply! I’ve not been sexually active for a while due to the amount of pain but I’m scared to ever again now thanks to this problem! I have a lot more discharge during ovulation than I used to which is also concerning. I’m hoping the hospital will be able to provide answers because the GP just keeps brushing it off since all the other tests have come back with nothing!
