Bit new to all of this, i’ve got a referral to see a gynaecologist finally on the 14th May (it would’ve been sooner but I’m on holiday the day they could see me🤦🏼♀️)
I get a lot of things that happen, headaches which become migraines, migraines out of nowhere, sickness out of nowhere, dizzy spells, agonising pain in my pelvic area to the point I can’t move, terrible mood swings but the thing bothering me the most is the amount I sweat. I can be freezing cold to touch but I’m still sweating and it makes no sense. Does anyone else suffer from this and is there anything that makes it better? Think I’ve tried every different brand deodorant/antiperspirant, i’ve tried stuff you put on overnight and shower off in the morning and nothing seems to help!

Hey. I majorly suffer with night sweats it’s very bad. I wake up dripping wet I have to change my sheets twice a week. Sometimes I have to change my pjs in the middle of the night. I’m on double mini pill and just had surgery a week and a half ago but have been dealing with the night sweats since Nov. I don’t know if it’s my Endo or PCOS cuz I have both but it’s not pleasant but your not alone 😊
Hiya, yes I have the Nexplanon implant and no don’t take any shots i’m only 23. I’ve taken vitamins in the past and they didn’t do anything to help/change so stopped but will definitely speak to whoever I see at my gyne appointment next month, thank you
No wonder you sweat. When you take progesterone-only birth control like the implant you have, your estrogen levels drop and you feel like in a menopause-like state (which is the aim of the implant since endo grows with estrogen). Sounds like you are having quite some trouble with super low estrogen. I would talk to a gynaecologist about this
I suffer from this as well and believe it is from my lupron medication. Are you on any medications currently? For deodorant I use old spice men’s deodorant and it seems to do the with me!
I have suffered with this all the way through my experience with hormone fluctuations, from when I first started my periods to now after my endo diagnosis and treatment. I have been told it’s just a consequence of hormone level changes so I wouldn’t worry too much, as long as you have been checked for potential other causes x
