Please help!! Is shoulder pain a common symptom??

I started feeling discomfort in the middle of my two shoulder blades(top of my back) around 3 weeks ago. But it has been getting worse and keeping me up at night. It feels like a tightness and some sort of cramping. I don’t know quite how to explain the pain but that’s the best I can explain it.

I am due my period this week and the pain has been getting a lot worse the past week, so I am just wondering if it has any connection with endometriosis.

Thanks!!x

Hi I can’t offer great advice but can say that my pre period pain sometimes involves my shoulder. For me it feels like anything that is sore is more sore at that time of the month. However i did also read that you can get endo on your diaphragm and that may cause higher up pain. Trick for me is to get on the ibuprofen and heat patches BEFORE the pain kicks in….
