I'm just over 16weeks now through pregnancy I woke up screaming and crying partner rushed to find out what was going on as I kept saying " no,no,no this cant be happening "anyway called ambulance ended up a&e then they sent me over to baby place done scans and turned up baby is completely fine heart beat really good and they said baby growing normal how they should be growing they did do wee test and also swab. There was blood on swab but bleeding stopped and should get results in 2-3 days time. Wee sample come back as water infection they are doing more tests so they know what tablets to give me etc.im just wondering if any of yous had this problem while pregnant? It's beenscary and frighteningand I just want to get some reassurance if anyone else had this problem.i feel baby moving again since we been in hospital and came out so I'm pleased babyis moving and just to see 100% there heartbeat on scan and know baby is ok.but plz girls anyone that's had this problem plz let me know.thanks nikki and Matt

Hey, i was always at the hospital with bleeding and other problems lol. I used to feel like such a drama queen sometimes haha! But the midwives always told me that they would prefer me to come in and everything was fine, as opposed to me ignoring it and something was wrong! So never be ashamed to be going to get checked out love, that is totally normal. Yes i had some pain during both pregnancies, but obviously much less severe than normal. More so with my second pregnancy, but by then I was already pretty poorly and on medication. I also had recurrent UTIs during pregnancy, and thrush! Our immune system can lower a bit because of all the hard work we are doing for the baby. Try keeping some cartons of cranberry juice and have one a day, drink LOTS of water too. Like LOTS. It really helps :) please know that how you're feeling is totally NORMAL, we all get anxious when we're pregnant and we all want to make sure that baby is safe. Try keep stress to a minimum, spend lots of time relaxing and resting, eat well and sleep loads. And if anything at all worries you then call that hospital immediately, there's nothing wrong with being checked over and given peace of mind. Xxx

Hi thank u. It can be worrying because I was told I had wee infection. Baby is fine tho heartbeat is great. I'm always stressed on and of through days as have things going on and being accused of things I just be glad to get to end of pregnancy and give birth to baby knowing 100% he/she is here in this world safe. Hi sadly I didn’t have any spotting during my pregnancy and I was very anxious about my baby and pregnancy until the baby started moving at 28wks. Once I could feel them moving I relaxed and enjoyed it a bit more.

I know of people on this forum who have had bleeding and spotting and have had healthy babies so please try not to worry as the stress is not good for you or little one.

Lots of luck 💕
