Everyday in pain after surgery.

Hello all I had my surgery in February but from that day till today I am in sharp pelvic pain everyday and everytime and now I am having swelling in my legs,feets and lower back please a shout to everyone if anyone can help me or do some scan as I am suffering I can't walk with this swelling on feets,my lower back is finished now totally disabled,if I go to GP they say I have to go to hospital if I go to hospital they say I have to go to the hospital where I had my surgery where should I have to go as now I can't even walk and stand without any help.

Hi Kam,I am sorry to hear that you are in pain. I am facing the same situation. I was awake last night in pain😢. I am waiting for a consultation with my consultant. It is taking so long. I had total hysterectomy I should not be in pain.

Hi sorry you are suffering so much pain. Do you have a contact number for the team who did your surgery- a specialist nurse maybe? If not I think you need to contact your GP again and ask him/her to contact the surgical team for advice and perhaps to refer you back. Your GP should also be treating you as best they can eg with painkillers,

I don’t understand why they told you to go to the hospital - do they mean to Accident and Emergency? If so and you did that and got no help that is a good reason to go back to the GP.

I understand when you are in a lot of pain it is hard to speak up for yourself. Could a family member help?

I hope you get some improvement soon.
