so on Wednesday after a long wait I had my laproscopy surgery for endometriosis.
however I'm in ever worse confusion.last year the consultant asked for mri and he said in a letter and to myself there was clear evidence of deep infiltration of the bowel.
when I had the surgery it was done by a different surgeon, (I don't know why)and he told me he couldn't see bowel endometriosis.
I have had so many problems with my bowels in relation to my periods.im so confused. What does this mean?I'm so upset as everything has gone tits up. I don't know how to

Sorry to hear this. When you had the surgery I assume by laporscopy did the surgeon discuss after if lesions were removed ( for example nodules and adhesions caused by the endo). They can for example in my case be between the uterus and the colon. Any found in your case on the colon etc?
Try and talk to the the surgeon if possible? Private or NHS? Deep infiltrative endo - was this done at an endo centre with also a colo-rectal surgeon or just gynae do you know?
If you can't get through to surgical team for example if nhs you could contact PALs which is the patient liaison service. I had to do so regarding second opinion advice of a scan. Via this I spoke to a consultant.
Are you due a recheck? If in doubt you could always contact your gp they should have your surgical report and should be able to help explain. And if needed re contact gynae etc . Explain the mri showed this but told something different post surgically.
