Confused ovary fount in pod

I’m so confused I had a ultrasound and was told my left ovary was fount and located in POD what does this mean?

Hi there!Not long ago I had my first consultation and I was told my right ovary and tube is tucked into my POD due to severe endometriosis. It's because there are too many adhesions in my pelvic area, so it can be similar in your case.

Think POD means Pouch of Douglas. The area between your rectum & the posterior wall of the uterus. X

I know this is an old post but I got told my left ovary is located in Pod. Did you get any answers as to why this can happen?

Hi same here! I never got no answers about it really strange! What did they say to you exactly about it ? I’m having my 1st laparoscopy surgery the end of the month

I didn't get any answers either. Did they say if it could be related to endo? Not too long for you

They didn’t I wish they explained more tbh basically I had scan last may which said my Left ovary located in the pod then in September I had another scan which said The left ovary is seen positioned posterior to the uterus? I’m not sure if the pod and posterior to the uterus is the same?

Yeah I wish they explain things fully too. Oh I see it could be the same place. Could you update me on this when you have your lap if the ovary still in the same location or moved. If you don't mind

yeah course I will! I’m guessing it is scar tissue moving it but you don’t know I’ll let you know anyway
