I have been reading up on some top endo surgeons especially those who specialise in treating bowel endo. I have hraed great things about some doctors based in the US. If any ladies have any experience of this I would be greatful if you could get in contact with me.

Thanks

Hi, are you based in the uk? I had my bowel endo treated by an amazing bowel surgeon best specialist I’ve ever met and I spoke with him multiple times before surgery he even drew me pictures of exactly what he would be doing and explained why the endo was causing me issues……I can message you his name but I can’t post directly on here as we are not able to do that however honestly we do have good bowel surgeons in the uk!! I didn’t have bladder endo however my endo specialist who worked alongside the bowel surgeon was also amazing and on the list on endo centre specialist surgeons xx

Yes I am, I was just interested in a particular US surgeon who has a special technique for the bowels which seems to result in far fewere complications but yes plesae post me the name etc. I went to see a top sonographer of endo in London yesterday and he said he thought mine was so bad that surgeons in the UK would be reluctant to operate, but yes I's really like your info do DM me I'd be very grateful.

Thanks

Hi Avourneen,I had 2 surgeries with Dr Camran Nezhat, the last one being a full hysterectomy + ovaries removed. That was already over 1 year ago and I feel great so far. I think we've been in touch before, but if you have any questions about Dr Nezhat, please let me know. Good luck with your doctor search.

Hi Ciaotuffy,I was considering him. I e mailed about a consultation but they said he would just look at my medical record and say what he thought but I haven't hard back. Obviously it would be a massive hassle to fly there I think my surgery will be really complex. It's through the pelvis, bowel and diaphragm and I think it might even be on my spine.

I had a really brilliant scan with a top sonographer in LOndon yesterday so now I have a clearer idea of what I need done and it's hard to think of a surgeon here who would be skilled enough.

Can you tell me what you had done and how your experience was ? Some other US specialists will give a free consultation but he doesn't, but I would like to chat with him briefly before comitting to anything. I remeber talking with you on here about it briefly. Could you let me know a bit more, it would be really helpful.

Thanks xx
