Blood clot

Hello,

I have started taking the combined pill this past and am now on a break and started my period today. A blood clot was on the pad about 10 cm long? Is this normal or do I need to panic?

I started it a couple of months ago and have had nothing like that. I don’t think you need to panic, but it is unusual so I would contact your doctor. I was once told if you have any clot bigger than a 50p then you should seek medical advice!

Thank you for the reply! I did read it shouldn't be over 2.5 cm and I was like 😳
