Fed up!!

I have had endometriosis for about 10 years, removed twice! Over the past year been suffering really bad, I’m still waiting for gyno appointment a year later had a scan 3 weeks ago that shows endo stuck to my ovary! during this month cycle I’m five days into my period and with covid when I experienced horrendous clots ( not quite size of golf balls) I passed 9 in 2 hours and suffering pain with is the norm but Never had clots like these before . I ring 111 who put a call in the ambulance ,waited 4 hours for the crew to say to me we will get you a cab to go A&E , I was like I could of done that myself 4 hours ago, anyway they tell me there is nothing they can do my blood pressure is high which usually if loosing a lot of blood it would be low.

Long story short I didn’t go A&E (it’s a weekend 7 hours wait the minimum) ,instead I ring gyno in woman’s hospital who basically said I have to be continuously loosing blood and rolling around in pain for it to be a medical emergency.

I’m totally fed up and frustrated still waiting a year, I ring up to see we’re I am on the list receptionist says I’m nearly there I’m like what does that mean? She says ring back in a month.

I can sympathise with you I have been there .. I had a vaginal hysterectomy in the end they were suppose to take my ovaries too but guess what they didn’t .. because I get cysts .. all I can say is keep pestering them .. I did .. they will listen last resort is AnE if you have to … I’m now waiting for another op for removal of the ovaries 20 mth wait as have two satsuma size cysts on my ovaries causing pain so I just keep emailing them Constantly … asking how long and how much pain in .. they won’t forget you then … xx good luck 🤞

Yep it’s frustrating to say the least, I’ve no quality of life at the moment I am sleeping all the time , A&E woman’s hospital say there is no point in coming because their a& e doctors can’t help because it’s a gyno doctor I need to see which I’m on the waiting list to see.What am I supposed to do!!!

This makes me SO angry! How can a doctor “normalise” a pain ? It’s like it’s not enough you telling them you are in agony already .

Makes me angry too!! And yes how can you generalise pain, you are made to feel like you are waisting there time! What do I do say I’m rolling in pain before I can get help or be on my death bed!
