Hi brave girls out there. I am 38 years old and diagnosed with Endometriosis? Yes they wrote this question mark in the report. Still people are not aware of this disease.

Yes, the debilitating pain during periods was a taboo for almost all of us…. “It’s okay to have pain”. Hearing this from childhood and post marriage, but shouldn’t have been ignored which led to uterine fibroid of 1.2 kilos. Got diagnosed and operated in 2015 within five months.

It did not end here. My ovarian chocolate cyst grew to 10.5 cm before it got diagnosed. Diagnosis to operation period is four months.

I had my surgery yesterday.

Let’s hope for the best. Will keep on posting regarding the post operative situation. If anyone have any question, feel free to drop and tag me.

Wow! A 1.2kg Fibroid? 😰 I’m thankful you finally had surgery. I’m sorry to hear that the diagnosis you received is still being questioned, I 100% feel you on that. I hope you have a speedy recovery! Best of luck 💜

A chocolate cyst is a confirmed endo diagnosis and is often an indicator of deep rectovaginal endo. If they have just questioned endo it sounds like you might not be with a surgeon with sufficient knowledge. If you still have symptoms you will need an advanced scan to look for severe disease.
