Hi all

Just after advise. I’m finding I’m having to go a&e with a hospital admission ever few months does anyone have any advise that can help prevent flares ?

Personally the only thing that stops flare ups for me is being on the pill back to back for 9 weeks then 1 weeks off, I still get the odd very tiny flare up here and there but it makes it a lot more manageable (except the week off!). I have also been on numerous pain medications and even got to the point I had steroid injections for the pain although it took me about 9 years to fight my way to that pointHave you been referred for any sort of pain management, or have you been given anything by your doctor to help?

Thankyou I was told last year I’d see a pain management person but still nothing. So fed up at this point I’ve been on the pill back to back and it didn’t do anything for me Personally

Have you got any way you can go private? A lot of private doctors are also NHS doctors so even if you can’t fully go private might be worth seeing how much just a consultation would cost then after then request they switch you to their NHS list instead. Stupid we have to go to these lengths but possibly an option…Really hope you find something that helps you soon
