Bowel issues... please help?

Hi ladies 

I have been really struggling for months with bowel and bladder problems. 

Today i have had awful ibs and lost alot of blood and mucus (sorry tmi) 

Can anybody advise me what this may be? 

The pain has been unbearable today 😕

You should go to A&E hun, it could be a rupture...and even if it has a simple explanation its better safe than sorry xx

the blood and mucus could be an indication of a small hole thats opened up, probably from straining. It could be an infection. It really could be something very dangerous, but having said that it could be something and nothing. Follow your instinct if you know what's happening isn't normal don't take the risk xx

I have bowel endo and that would be a big sign I needed to go the hospital I've never experienced anything like you describe xx

Oh god im really worried now i have a lap scheduled 2 weeks tomorrow but i cant wait till then. My partner is working tonight and im home alone with my son. I will get checked out tomorrow. Thankyou for your advice i really appreciate it x

Do u get white discharge with endo aswell ?

Not from my bowel, I've had slight blood on the tissue but nothing I'm overly concerned about. I do get thick white discharge around ovulation, well all the time but in smaller amounts xx

If you get any worse tonight promise me you will call a Dr out or go to a&e I'm worried about u xx

I have had mucus for a while and occasionally blood but today was alot worse. I have just googled it and it sounds like intestinal endo 😕 i have every symptom 😕 

I will for sure im feeling really sick now too

Drink plenty of water, stop eating, have breakfast tomorrow and go fresh, high fibre, light on spreads (butter marge) try to eat clean tomorrow your tummy will thank you. Boiled hot water instead of caffeine and lay on the side that hurts least, pillow between your knees and a hot water bottle rest, feet up, if you have Rennie take some to sooth the stomach xx

That sounds great thankyou 😊 i dont eat bread as that causes havoc with my stomach. And i constantly have a hot water bottle i could not live without it. Lots of fruit and veg for me hopefully i will be ok. Just taken some rennies now. Thankyou again i really appreciate your help xx

Hi it does sound like it may be bowel endo but it could also be a fissure or hemerroids, caused by straining when trying to go. Are you on your period? If you are having problems with both bowels and bladder it could be rectovaginal endo.

I had hemmoroids removed a year ago when i had a colonoscopy. I know i have endo was diagnosed 7 years ago. My story is longggggg. But i dont have periods at all im on mini pill. Thankyou for replying this lap cant come quick enough x

you could have diverticula. If you are bleeding from the bowel you should go see a doctor immediately

I have been to the gp so many times and they dont do anything im fighting a loosing battle with them its a nightmare. Im just hoping they will sort me out when i go in for my lap x

Hi liz only just realised you posted. I just dont know what to do as im scheduled lap in 2 weeks. Do i go back to my gp? Or contact the consultant secretary? Thankyou for your reply x
