Anyone else having a hysterectomy soon?

So I'm due into hospital on Monday for a complete hysterectomy. I've had 2 cesareans so I think I have a pretty good idea what recovery will be like. Praying that this will take the pain away.

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else would be having an operation soon so we could compare notes, swop stories etc etc

Hi Jenn2022, I’m having a complete hysterectomy on the 24th March. My previous operations have been removal of ovarian cyst, chocolate cyst and one ovary. If I’m honest, I’m absolutely petrified 😔 I know it won’t be a cure for my endometriosis, but if it gives me some relief from the pain so I can start to live my life again, then I’ll be happy. I hope your op goes well and that you have a good speedy recovery 😊

Hi Jenn,First off, my prayers are with you for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery. I just had the last dose of my Prostap 3 injection in prep for Sub total hysterectomy surgery. I don’t have an official date as yet due to backlogs but I have been informed it will take place before the end of May.

I’m rather anxious about the surgery but I’m hopeful all these nasty side effects will go away after surgery and recovery there from.
