Just wanted to ask if anyone has had zodalex before and have had similar symptoms to me and if so what did they do to help it.
I’ve been on it for about a week and starting to notice it is slowly helping my pain on my left side which I am relieved! However been getting symptoms of sudden fatigue/tiredness, nausea, bloating, anxiousness, and achey tingly joints round my hands.
Just wondered if anyone has experienced these symptoms before and what they done to help with the symptoms?
Thank you for your help ❤️

Hi! I finished my 6 months of zoladex a month ago. It didn’t really help me much. Only stop my periods for 3 out of the 6 months. I had headaches, hot flushes and brain fog, although the headaches did ease a bit after a couple of months. At the start my feet were itchy and tingly! That lasted about a month. I was in HRT too which helped I think. If in doubt call your GP or gynie consultant though!! Good luck xxx
Hi MrsEvans21 thank you for your reply. I am sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you, are you now preparing for your op soon now you’ve recently come off?
Yeah that tingly sensation is what I’m getting but in my hands, it’s a weird feeling, but hasn’t got any worse which is good. Yeah if it all does continue I will speak with my gp or gyno.
I had my op in May last year, still getting pains! Seeing the gastro consultant on Tuesday and if nothing comes of that (which I doubt it will) I’ve already told my GP I want an MRI! Had to get shirty. Which I hate!!!! But needs must. Gynie told me I did not have endo but I could have a lap if I really wanted. When I came round he said ‘oh you have extensive endo’. Yeah. Y’think?! Big eejit. Good luck with it all!! Don’t forget your numbing cream when you get the implant!!!! Two hours before and paracetamol helped me! Xx
Aww bless you so sorry to hear you are still having issues. I really hope they get sorted for you 🙏❤️. You definitely done the right thing and don’t blame you for getting shirty as I don’t think they realise what it’s like to have endo and it always feel like they never believe you and only take it seriously when it does become too serious or too late! I hope your gastrio consultation goes well next week and don’t give up for sure ❤️.
I sadly had to get shirty too and glad that I did as it changed so quickly since my scan in dec and my scan last week showed that my left cyst on my ovary, moved and has caused kissing ovaries and has got bigger too! That’s why I went on zodalex straight away just to stop it from growing anymore and they are fast tracking me to get this sorted thank god!
Aww thank you so much and will make note of that as I didn’t know about that! Thank you again for your help ❤️❤️
Yeah they don’t tell you that it’s an implant with a giant needle not an injection, and they don’t tell you to buy Emla cream over the counter for about 4 quid. At a pharmacy. It’s tiny. But it lasted me!! Two hours before and out a tissue over it and take painkillers. It’s like one department doesn’t talk to the other and it makes it so much harder for us! Scans are odd. My ultra sound said one thing and then when they did the lap it was something else! Good luck xx
I totally agree with you they don’t tell you all these things at all, and you are always left to find out another way.
Thank you for letting me know, will be getting this.
Yeah scans are really strange and the only way you will really know is if you have a really good gyno doctor from what I am finding out tbh. Hopefully we will get sorted out soon 🙏❤️. Wish you good luck and all the best too xxx
