financial help if i carnt work
Hi Mousey14
Yes you can apply for universal credit and Personal Independance Payments if you stop working. It is a long process and you have to try and prove to them how much it affects you daily life. It took me over a year to get the financial help.
Talk to someone at citizens advice, they can tell you what you can apply for in you specific situation.
If you have any questions let me know because I have been through both processes.
Under the Equalities Act endo should be considered a disability as it affects your day to day life. You are therefore entitled to ask your employer for ‘reasonable adjustments’ if there are any changes they could make to help you at work. It has be something they can reasonably accommodate. Could be anything from change to shift pattern, breaks, sitting down more to doing a different role.
Just a thought of something that might help you hang in there!
Citizens Advice could probably help with that too if you do not have a union.
