I have endo and I've recently been put on the pill as a tri-cycle. This is my first period since and I'm now taking the pill again after the break. Recently I've been experiencing what I can only describe as a dull ache and twinge in my rectum and in my vagina. At the least it's uncomfortable and at most it makes me wince. Is this just another part of endo?

Is Rectal and Vaginal pain normal for endo?
Hi, I've got Endometriosis stage 3 & I get these really uncomfortable pains too. Mine feel like someone's poking me with a sharp needle in my vagina or rectum. They only last minutes & come & go so I don't tend to take any pain killers. I also get bad headaches, pelvic pain (feels like someones poking me with needles, a sharp pain). I'm trying to control my diet as sometimes what I eat can effect the sypmtoms too. I've given up bread, caffeine, red meat to name a few. Oh & pasta made me severely constipated so that's off the list too! Hope this helps.
Thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear you're feeling something similar. I just hope that it's not something that continues.
Hi there I suffered with endo and didnt even know I had it went docs as my periods have changed and was told had it after investigationsOne thing I did suffer with for years in pain when going for a wee its also a symptom you can experience with endo 😔 guess I had it for years without knowing also sugar is really bad for endo as it causes inflammation to it x
