I get constipation, bloating, gas, heaviness, pile and fissure like symptoms along with sharp pains inside my rectum going up. I get full period symptoms and cycle discharges from my rectum. Following my period these eventually ease but now they go on more than they used to. Have had piles and a fissure so am concerned the cells may have got in during the healing and have caused issues. I cant seem to get gp to refer me, should i push it? I cant afford private but dont want to leave it to continue getting worse. I am booked in to speak to gp again next week as i asked about this last time and they did coeliacs test etc but when i called for results no referral had been made. I cant sit properly for long and its causing probs all month now. 😢 i’m not very good at forums and tech but had to ask for my own sanity! Is it me?

Don't think you're going mad! Without a doubt push - you know something's not right here.

I would stress you've had endometriosis before and you know it can come back.

Thanks, the gp dis listen but then did nothing, i hope he just forgot and will sort it out when i speak to them on Monday. Had it so long its almost normal. They kept saying oh well go home and monitor it and come back, but then i had a trapped nerve and carpel tunnel op which messed up the continuity. 😊Thanks for the push

Might feel like it's "normal" because you've got used to it, but just because you've put up with something doesn't mean it is normal, and it doesn't mean you should have to put up with it either. If they're telling you to monitor it i'd knock a diary up and just say I have monitored it, i've kept records and it's getting worse not better.

Good luck my love!

Hi evickery1, Just to update you, i have spoken to a gp this morning and he is going to refer me, apparently the last gp i spoke to didnt write my comments re rectovaginal endo in the notes and focus on the coeliacs etc.

Thanks for your encouragement, now i wait.

Take care
