As I'm gorging my face off and drinking my body weight in champagne 🍾.
I just wondered if anyone has quite a high BMI, I'm having my first ever Laparoscopy on 6th Jan. I have had surgery numerous times for other things and keyhole in my abdomen in the past.
I think I'm just thinking of things to worry about, has anyone in the UK been refused this because of their weight.
I've never ever been small.
Thank you, hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas xx

I think if your hospital had this policy, which a few seem to, they would have told you by now. I wouldn’t worry about it. Hope your hangover isn’t too bad, good luck with the lap.
Hi, I have a bmi of 44 and never been refused surgery although they often like to tell me at any given opportunity that I am overweight it has never hindered any surgery hope this helps xx
