Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have tried to get an exemption from the covid vaccination programme (equivalent to a covid pass) and if so how easy was the procedure?
I have been diagnosed with endo ten years ago and I had a second surgery last summer. I have decided against the vaccine while I am recovering from the surgery and until more data is available on how it might affect patients with endo in the long run.
Any advice would be much appreciated

I’ve looked into an exemption as well whilst I’m in the stages of endo investigation but haven’t got as far as getting one but from research I believe you can contact a number (on gov website) get sent out a form which you complete then have signed by your GP? I’m going to be looking into it soon and hope they consider it. X
Thanks Jasmine! I am looking into it now too. I am wondering how easy it is to get an exemption but I will find out soon I suppose. I will update this post after I have gone throught the process so you know what to expect. xxx
Just an update here for anyone interested, unfortunately GPs cannot sign off a covid 19 vaccination exemption for endometriosis. The government has issued a list of canditions that can grant exemptions and unfortunately endo is not one of them. Disappointing and telling of how much more awareness is needed around our condition but nothing more we can do at this stage, I'm afraid! At least we are lucky to live in a country that does not enforce covid passes...
