Have you already tried some pain relief? The next step might be speaking to your gp and seeing what they suggest - it seems to be that everyone gets in better with different things. I don't think any pain relief will help with the bloating though.
Have you tried a tens machine?
I know nothing helps with the bloating but the pain is unreal and I have tried everything over the counter and codeine 30mg and 60 mg and Dihydrocodeine , oral morphine!… I am at my wits end now … book to see a privet consultant on Wednesday now as I can’t wait any longer for help x
You need some anti inflammatory drugs. Nurophen / Ibuprofen are the ones you can take over the counter. I need 8-1200mg to stop feeling pain that much but it’s almost a daily dose in one go.
You can get prescription on stronger ones. I’m using Oki, or other variants which contain ketoprophen (main ingredient). It helps A LOT. I once (when run out of these ones) used morphine based drug I has left from earlier injury, it didn’t help at all
Have you tried any supplement like Agnis Castus or NAC, both have helped lessen my pain. I also use a TENS machine plus the usual pain meds , I’ve only managed to get codine from the doctor but some people have had results with Tramadol other anti inflammatory ones . I also take tranexamic acid which lessens my bleeding and helps with the monthly pains
Hi Claire hope you feel better soon! I find peppermint capsules and green tea help with the bloating. Mefenamic acid is a good painkiller it helps reduce blood flow too x
