Zoladex and relentless periods!

Hi,

I have had 2 Zoladex injections now to help treat my Endometriosis but I’ve been getting a period every 2 weeks since I started. This period I’m currently on doesn’t show any sign of stopping either even though I’m on day 6 and usually have finished by now. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve called my consultant but unfortunately she’s off for the next month!

Are you on any other medications? I would suggest asking to speak to the nurse who administered it if you haven't already, as they will know a lot about how it works.

Also, this probably isn't reassurance but I bled throughout my Zoladex treatment, it didn't stop mine at all.

I was given zoladex a few years ago, I was bleeding non stop. The surgeon said he'd never had anyone experience this but that's me my doctor said I'm very complexed lol. I have read a few people on here experience a lot of bleeding as well so don't feel your alone. I decided to come of it in the end as it obviously didn't agree with me. X
