I’ve been planning on moving out of London for over a year now (was waiting for my endo surgeries to be out of the way first, but this is taking way longer than I hoped). Everything has been delayed due to covid and now I’m wondering if I just move anyway and travel back down for my surgeries.
My question is do you know if moving/ changing doctors would affect my current hospital treatment? I’m reluctant to change hospitals to the new location because I think I might have to be re-referred and then wait all over again.

Sorry to hear your surgery has been delayed due to the pandemic. I understand that you'd want to avoid any possibility of delaying it further! You need to live your life though, and can't let this stop you from moving 😊 we can't really give a definite answer as to whether the move would affect your access to surgery; it would be best to give the hospital a call, explain the situation and ask for their advice on how to proceed.
If you would like additional support with this, Endo UK offer a helpline run by volunteers who have endometriosis. Our current rota is here: endometriosis-uk.org/helpline
