Hi!

I moved from Germany to London last week and would be very grateful for your help with the following problem: I have endometriosis and have had my pain under control for the previous few months (thanks to the Mirena IUD). However, I have been having bad abdominal cramps again and a severe bladder infection for the last four days. In Germany, I am being treated in a centre for endometriosis, is there something like that here, too and can I be treated there? Since I have never been to a doctor here, I would be very grateful for any recommendations on where to go!

When I moved to the Westcountry and started to have bad problems again 15 years later, I was lucky enough to be treated by one of his understudy students who became a consultant at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth; Mr Hookway - both are incredibly talented around gynae issues.

Can’t give you a recommendation in London but if you Google ‘ BSGE ‘ that should give you a list of specialist endo teams in different parts of the UK. If you have not registered with a GP you need to do that as they would refer you/ treat you for current problems. You probably already know that but just thought I should mention.
